This morning I was putting some clothes in a bag for an overnight at grandma and grandpa's in Rockville. Harry looked at me and asked "Going to an airplane-port?" I didn't have it in me to correct him.

On Sunday upon hearing cousin Rose is in kindergarten: "Is she learning how to be an astronaut?" We assured her this is a first step of many astronauts.

This morning as Jonathan was talking about the Marquette v. West Virginia game last night: "West Virginia? Mountain Mama!" (bonus: Harry started singing Country Roads). I am so proud!

Stella's quote from our trip to San Diego

For the flight to San Diego for cousins Taiki's bar mitzvah I bought a bag of distractions. Included in this bag was an ipod touch and a portable dvd player as well as wonderful kid sized headphones. The first time we put the headphones on Stella she yelled:

"Mommy! There is music coming out of my earmuffs!"

Art Sparks at the Speed Museum

The Speed Museum has this wonderful children's area called Art Sparks. We try to go whenever we are in Louisville. This time Stella drew and Harry painted. Really. Harry Painted.

Harry's Birthday

It has been a while since I have posted but the birthday fun deserves a post. Harry turned 1 (can you believe it?!?!) yesterday and we had over friends and family for pizza and cake. Of course the party was supposed to take place on the roof but it was rainy and gross so we had to move it inside. It is amazing how many folks fit into our tiny apartment! Thanks everyone for making Harry's birthday so wonderful.
